Taking a little time to myself, I utilized my increasing familiarity with the hotel's surroundings and set off for the Eiffel Tower after dinner.

Within a matter of minutes I stood in front of tower, jaw agape. The tower is just stunning - even more so when it glitters at the top of each evening hour. Despite the hour and lingering crowds, I felt completely safe and enthralled as I walked around and took dozens of photos.

After a circuitous walk back to the hotel, I posted the photos I'd just taken on my blog. The caption was simple:"Nothing is more beautiful than the Eiffel Tower at night. NOTHING."
