Overall, I found my Rick Steves tour to be a perfect fit. Not only were my fellow travelers were friendly and enthusiastic, I'm certain that our guides' expertise and efficiency provided me a richer experience than if I'd relied on guidebooks and badly-pronounced French.

Also, I fully recommend that travelers allow themselves certain helpful American habits while abroad. Thanks to frappuccinos, WiFi and shopping, I was energized, informed, and returned with fabulous gifts and mementos of a voyage fantastique!
